Latest prerelease

Installed the latest prerelease of GNSS, JField, and GeoData, this AM. Once the LS powered on, it made 5 short beeps, that sound more like an alarm. Since then, the LS broadcast that same 5 beeps or alarms about every 5 min or so. Anyone know what those 5 beeps or alarms are indicating?

Thanks

That's just it, the only warning listed is about about a full backup, and It is set to remind me every 6 months, and I think it forgets about the 6 month reminder, as I get that warning every day, just have learned to ignore it.

These beeps just started, so just curious is it telling me something that I need to be concerned with.

Thanks for the quick response.

Nope, everything seems to be working, it just annoying not knowing what its indicating. Its collecting and staking out points in thick cover right now. Also, it beeps even in the wide open sky. So, not sure, what its telling. I do show another JField, update is available, may have to update and see if it fixes the beeps. The update tone, is completely different, this tone is one I have never heard in 2 years of running the unit.

James,

Please go to the second home screen, Select My TLS, and then Device Status. Let us know what you see.

I spoke with Doug earlier and I too have heard the sound 1 or 2 times for no reason. Don't know why.

When it makes the sound I get a hardware status out of range warning that goes away a few seconds after the sound. I've been inside when I've heard it happen.

I was able to catch a warning that said Hardware Status out of Range. This seems to come and go. One time MY TLS is all green, then it will go red, and then back to green. So maybe this is narrowing this down.

Yep, all day today. Its normally in a float situation under canopy, but it has done it in open sky as well. So not sure what it is reading to throw the warning/code.

I got a screenshot, crew said its warning every 3 or 4 minutes and then it goes away.

You have no problem. We need to open our warning margins a bit. It is false alarm. There 1.91 is as good is 1.89. We open it to 1.95 or 2.0. Turn off the speaker if it bothers you until next Pre-release. We added this information to see all details of all pieces of hardware.
