LCD Firmware Upgrade

I don't know if I've never noticed this warning before or if it's something new, but in any case my T-LS currently has a warning that says "LCD Firmware requires to be be upgraded!". When I click on the warning I get another message that says "LCD Firmware Upgrade Procedure Please go to www.javad.com for more details..." But I don't see anything at javad.com about it.

There's an old (February 2015) thread about this, but the information is confusing as to procedure. Can someone tell me what this upgrade entails and how to go about effecting it correctly?

Thanks for the link. I've downloaded the firmware, and just need to scrounge up an uncommitted microSD card (I'm sure I have one around here somewhere).

By the way, what does this upgrade accomplish? I haven't noticed any problems with my screen to date.

That seems to have worked, but I still don't know what's different...
