IS THERE A WAY TO LOCK THE TRIUMPH LS KEYBOARD IN UPPER CASE LETTERS? I HAVE TO TAP THE SHIFT KEY BEFORE EVERY LETTER. OFTEN, I TAP THE ESCAPE KEY BY MISTAKE.

A long click of the shift button puts it in caps lock mode.

A general rule with J field is there may be more than meets the eye with a button. Always try a long press if you think something else shold happen.
