It was about 1:00 p.m., and the temperature in Northeast Mississippi was 95° with a heat index of 105°. Last week, my T3 quit broadcasting twice. Today, my LS+ screen froze. It was pretty hot outside, and the LS unit felt very hot. It is now 9:15 pm in my A/C house, and my LS unit is still has a frozen screen. No combination of buttons work. No long press “ON/OFF” to reboot, and no response to any screen buttons. Last resort is to go through the “change battery“ routine that I found through a YouTube video that linked back to the Java’s website. This was the recommended solution from Shawn Billings. I probably exceeded the maximum operating temperature for the unit in this oppressive heat wave we are now experiencing. My work solution for the rest of the summer is to work from daylight to noon. By that time, I am about to overheat! I drank 3 liters of water this morning, and about 48 ounces when I got home. It is HOT outside! Y’all Southern boys be careful out there and don’t overdo it.
