Move, Shift of surveyed points?

Hi everyone,

I just did a two day topo job where I could not DPOS the points until today. I have two base files (one for each day) but I only downloaded the first day, which is the one I ran through DPOS. Is there a way to shift or move the second day's work onto the corrected positions? I can do it in CAD, but can I do it in JField?

you can dpos both days. Then look, at their base values. Inverse between them. They should be close to each other. Maybe within 0.05' or such.
Then, use average cluster. This will give you an average of the 2 dpos sessions.
Then, assign that average to BOTH days. now, you have a single common base, for both days.
IF you return to this job, assign the base the coord that was produced by the average cluster.

Did that Nate, and thanks for the info! Difference was definitely within 0.05', both horizontal and vertical. I wonder if there might be a need for being able to adjust the survey points manually without DPOS, however. Much as done with design points. Just wondering...
