National Spatial Reference System of 2022 (NSRS2022)

As the world changes, we are informed that the (US) National Geodetic Survey (NGS) intends to implement a new Geospatial Reference System by 2022. The new system will be known as the National Spatial Reference System of 2022 (NSRS2022).

I am curious to know if the JAVAD team is making plans to accommodate this change? Is NGS releasing any useful information to you in support of the change? How do you anticipate the new system impacting JAVAD users? What is the general discussion and opinion from the developers and end users point of view about this change? What else should we be asking?

Is it too early in the game for me to be asking these questions?

Vladimir Prasolov always keeps the GeoData (reference frames and coordinate systems) up to date with the most recent systems so this will be made available too once it is released. We already have HTDP inside J-Field. I'm not sure that any other data collector offers HTDP in their software.

Thank you. I was aware that the new 2022 system would be both Horizontal and Vertical time dependent. I just was not up to speed on the acronym.
