Does Javad sell a motherboard that can be transplanted into a Topcon Hiper, that would upgrade it from an old Hiper+ to a javad chipset that allows the other constellations. The reason for the question is that I have several Hiper + units, that topcon will not sell the parts for, and since the older Javad units shared the same design, I was just wondering if there was an option available that has been considered already.

They would make great base units, if you could get a board to fit in the unit. If the board is available and cost is say $2500 to $3000, then it would make sense to try and use the housing, if not I guess a T2 or T3 would be the next best option.

Any thoughts?

I suspect a newer GNSS antenna would be needed too to tract other costerlations. A trade in program was offered last year. If you contact Michael Glutting, he may be able to make you a similar offer.
