On the POINTS screen

We would benefit from more options.
+10 points (we already have this)
+100 points (we need this)
+500 points (would be nice)

We already have ">> or, "Go to end of file" and << "Go to beginning of file".

So, if we had also
-10 points, (we already have this)
-100 points (we need this)
-500 points (this would be nice)
Or, I may not be using it "Right".

I just did a localize, SURVEY point number 3749 = Design Point 2080.

(I had already done this, BUT DPOS has that bug... thou knowest!)

So, re-do it, so I can do more work on this area. It's a big coord system, for a couple of miles. All around where I live. It's already set up, on ground like this, with many surveys.
I have more work here....

And, picking through 2000 coords, 10 at a time... is not my idea of efficiency. Or, to be ABLE to simply Type in the point number....

Thank you,

Nate

Not sure what you mean by 10 at a time, 100 at a time and 500 at a time, Nate. Can you explain more? If you want to list points by typing a range you can do it by picking the magnifying glass in points, then type 1..20 for all points 1 through 20. If you only want point 20, then pick the magnifying glass then pick the middle of these three buttons |[...| |...| |...]| and type in 20.

If I want to go look at point 500, to look at the description, and there are 1200 points in it, mostly design points, what is the most effecient way to display that point?
I've been slowly pecking 50 times.

It's probably fastest to use the method I describe above. Press the magnifying glass and then type the point number in the box next to it. Select the ... button. Should only show the point with that name.

I'll try it.
Does that also work for selecting a point for staking?

Yes, the search selection screen has the same search filter available. For example if you want to see points that only begin 1:

It seems dpos, and localize are not playing together now.

I'm on Version 1.11.9.4297
It refuses to really do it right.
Finally, After deleting all design points, and all associated line work, and the localization, in it's entirety, At the points Screen, the first point, which was dposed, refuses to display. Its still there though.
It just says "Incorrect Coordinates". It's the base point.
And, I'm working to archive it.
I like archiving SPC. Makes the whole thing more useful.
