OPUS Complaint

This was my 4th attempt to submit a decimated "o" file (all 4 were produced by JPS2RIN v 2.0.136) to OPUS. All attempts have failed. The first three "o" files were decimated to 30-second intervals. The latest, decimated to 15-second intervals. All (4) files were created with the checked box for using with OPUS. All (4) submissions to OPUS resulted in the same complaint:

The original JPS file is attached if that might help in identifying the problem.

Does anybody know what might be causing this OPUS complaint?

Hello Alexey, Thank you for this suggestion! I tried it and the submission was successful.

This seems like a new development, any idea if it's because of changes made by NGS, JField or both?

Also, did you try submitting the file to OPUS and have you received a solution? I ask because in the past 10 days or so, I've been able to successfully submit the files to OPUS, but I have not received notices of failure nor of a solution.

Hello Kelly, OPUS declines to process due to event marker tags in rinex obs file.
Sure it’s jps file issue.
I haven’t submit jps but rinex instead (did I undertand correctly your question?). Last 10 days OPUS was not stable with our submissions.

I was only submitting the rinex file to OPUS. The files were uploaded successfully; e.g.,

But then I never receive an email notice; of a solution, or failure, just a null response.

I'm curious if everybody is still able to submit rinex files produced by JPS2RIN from jps files to OPUS and then to receive a solution. I've been waiting for several days for what sometimes would only take a few minutes, even with coughing.

I have rinexed 1701GNSS1_082_094702.jps with jps2rin exactly as I have described on the picture abobe and got a report OPUS in 3 minutes.

Alexey,

Thank you for trying and yes, I know that you have had success processing it when you submitted it to OPUS. DPOS also quickly came up with a solution (using the correct HI for ARP).

I was just asking if U.S. surveyors were still able to submit rinex files produced by JPS2RIN from jps files to OPUS and then to receive a solution because I still have not received a solution from OPUS. Before I contact NGS, I thought it prudent to have this question answered by other U.S. Surveyors.

I submitted a jps2rinwin RINEX file about half an hour ago and received a solution a few minutes later.

Kelly,

I just now converted yesterday's 4+ hour static file with jps2rinWin. I sent the .o file to OPUS and got a solution back in about 3 minutes.

It might be possible that Kelly's technique for starting the file is somehow creating event markers while the method used by Jim and John is not.

Thanks guys for trying and for reports of successful OPUS Solutions.

It might be possible that Kelly's technique for starting the file is somehow creating event markers while the method used by Jim and John is not.

This is an interesting idea Shawn, though I'm not intentionally nor unwittingly doing anything different than previously when OPUS Solutions were being received. I'm glad for Jim's remarks as I like him (or so I think), haven't upgraded the T2's hardware; i.e., 2.3 to 2.4, so that aspect wouldn't appear to be involved.

Out of curiosity, what did your JPS2RIN configuration look like for those receiving OPUS Solutions? Here's the latest settings that I used per Alexey's advice that he showed above with the exception that I decimated down to 30 seconds:
