Reboot the LS, and clear the NV Ram, reset radio.

There are dozens of settings, in the LS, and in the base. When you break, or interrupt a sequence, it has a potential to leave a letter, or a number in some storage slot, that can mess things up.
I've been having reduced range on my system for a month now. I was setting up my base, and then suddenly decided I had to switch from internal radio, to external radio. I did this, during a sequence. This somehow corrupted a piece of the NV Ram. I rebooted the LS. I cleared the NV Ram. I re-sent radio settings from rover to external radio. Restarted the base.
After doing this, a number of things began working better. (It was back like it was a month ago).
It's a good idea to just occasionally do this, just in case your interruption of any sequence, allowed a wrong setting to occur.
If you are having trouble, this may fix it. It's like clearing off your cluttered desk, and prevents co-mingling of settings or files that don't go together.
Happy Surveying.

Reboot the LS. Hold the on / off button, till it turns off.
Clear the NV Ram in the base, (both T2 and T3). Connect base to rover. Then, one button down, on the right, (above the big button to set base coord) press there. It's where you can view base files. Press there. Then, you'll find "clear NV Ram" button. Clear it. You'll need to re-get your base coord, and base height. But that will clear it.
Then, make sure your radio settings are right (UHF) and press "to radio".
You should be good to go.
I can post a screen shot on clear NV Ram later, but I've not got it with me.
