Feature request:
Right Angle Intersection.
(Direction from first point)
(Distance from first point)

Select first and second points.
Select Direction from first point
Enter Direction from first point,
It now creates a coord at 90° FROM the created point.



Select first and second points.
Select Distance from first point.
Enter distance from from first point
It now prompts for user to select Left or Right solution
User selects
It now creates a coord at that distance, but it is at 90° at the created point.

I saw that in the field, and was needing the "By distance" solution.
I could not figure out how to make it do the by distance solution.
So, I just did it manually.

Hi Nate, this is actually very easy to do with the CAD tools in J-Field. Draw a circle with the radius of your distance at Point A and then draw a line from Point B to the tangent point on the circle.

Draw a circle around point B

Draw a line from point A

Snap the line to one of the tangent points on the circle

Create point C at this point

End the line
