What is the ryme or reason to the stake next button when staking points? Sometimes it goes to the next sequential point. Sometimes it displays a message "sequence completed".

Can you make a list of points to stake to and then just hit next?

The Next button advances to the next point in the stake sequence. The sequence is configured Stake Points Mode screen shown above. There is an option to create a list of points to be staked in this screen.

I also always have the white box of “target” I think it is (I’m not looking at my machine right now) where it will immediately let you type in a point number (or select from map whichever you prefer) to stake next instead of backing out of screens.....it’s very handy.
I’ve always found the stakeout points order to be a bit cantankerous at times, especially on the occasion I stake back to a few surveyed points as that’s when it says “sequence completed” after every point, unless I change the selection from design to surveyed points but as long as you know what you’ve got selected it works fine.
Not everyone stakes out points the same and this allows for many different types of parameters. As with so much of the LS - it’s adjustable to each individuals tastes.
