I'm thinking of a river boundary, that needs surveyed. It has trees growing overhead.
Since it is nearly impossible to keep still, in the water.
My thoughts are trajectory, but don't allow floats. And, maybe run the river twice.
Store every 20 feet.
Maybe only attempt this when Sat config is good, to excellent.
Anybody else already "In the water" with this?
I have run several rivers, with my older Topcon Legacy E gear.
I paddled to angle points, and took time, and got enough shots, to be confident.
That may be the best.
Dunno. Canoe, or Pirogue (That's pronunced pee-row).
With a small anchor, for careful work.
I also carried a leica yardage pro, and shot the banks.(I shot C/L from GPS, and then took dist to banks, and recorded 60L 72R (That would mean 60 ft to left bank, and 72 ft to right bank, from the viewpoint of moving downstream).
Anyway, suggestions?
