I have read and used the Static setup on my LS and it works great. Can someone briefly explain the Static Setup procedures for the Triumph-2. I don't recall this in the manual.
Thanks

Just push the record button.

What you'll get is 1-second epochs on the T2 by its default recorder. If you want some other interval, use JMT (Javad Mobile Tools).

I want to setup both LS and T2 for static stations on the same site and collect 2hrs of data w/30 second epochs. I create a Project on the LS and have it setup..no problem.. How do I create a project on the T2, set it for 30 second epochs and then download the completed file?

In short, no project creation is required when using the Triumph-2 for stand alone static sessions. Use Javad Mobile Tools for your mobile device to set the epoch to anything other than the default 1-second recording epoch for stand alone static sessions.

Javad Mobile Tools for iOS folks, get JMT here:

Javad Mobile Tools for Android is available on the Google play store here:

Please post any questions about JMT here:

JMT is excellent because you can change parameters in the field, such as recording interval. But you can also set the recording interval in NetView as well as downloading the raw data file after the session. If you aren't using base rover setup, which there is no need for if you are only doing a static survey, then use the record button on the receiver.

I was just wondering how to enter the antenna height. I was thinking this may be done by the LS, but now I recall it is entered in the DPOS submission form.

Why do we set the antenna height in the LS setup for static sessions and enter it again in the DPOS submission? I hope this does not create vertical errors (doubling HI's)

The antenna height and recording interval can be entered with the mobile apps or with NetView (more complicated option). DPOS will read the antenna height stored in the raw data file when the height is set to "Auto" so you don't need to enter it again if you have set it correctly before you started recording data. If you enter an antenna height in DPOS it will override what is stored in the raw file for the antenna height and used the entered value.

Thanks Matt. That clarifies most of my concerns. I had trouble pairing my phone with TR2, but, finally got it to work.

Thanks to all for your help. I'm kind of new to GPS. I know just enough to get in trouble so I really appreciate you answering my questions.
