Interruptions are quite frequent and a pause button would be handy.

Amen! otherwise, it makes a file for each one... And we want it all in one file.
Is this something that can be added to the to do list? I would also like for the record screen to be able to be hidden so other's can't look at the screen and see that audio is being recorded. The recorder could be very handy not only in the field but at my desk as well, if it had a pause button and the ability to recall and add to previous voice notes. Also if it could name the note the first several words of the recording would help with organization.
Hi Adam, I had added a pause button and file naming options for recordings to the to do list. You can currently start a recording and then change to other screen and it still continues to record.
Great, I didn't think about just changing screens. Will the pause button be able to work from the white box option. If I could basically leave the recorder activated then pause or resume from a white box button, this would be ideal. This will make for some quick voice notes with little interruption to work flow.

Ho ho Adam! So now we have a clandistine little recording device, for when that onery old man comes along, with his big stick, and telling you to get out of there!

I think the white box would need to be changed to be a link to Record Voice screen to be able to do this. We are currently able to assign the user defined hardware buttons to open up this screen with the Microphone option. Are you wanting to associate the recorded audio with points?
Not really, wanting to use the recorder as a fieldbook of continuous notes for each project.
