white boxes

I have a white box in collection screen selected to view base/rover statistics, but when I select it there are no numbers, just the layout. What is the solution to get the numbers to show up.

At the end of the same job I went to hit the "done" button and noticed the base was not showing in the the display and it said no communication, but I had collected quite a few points, before noticing that the base display was blank, in RTK with no problem....it was fixing and everything and not STN or Floating.

The last time I updated was 6-20-2016 geodata 128.4 mb and j-field 71.8 mb

Base Rover setup screen will be blank when not connected via bluetooth to the base. The base/rover statistics not showing data was reported to the development team a few days ago.

Adam....what I found happens...is when you touch the white box button for base/rover statistics...that also knocks the base out of the display in base/rover screen....but I am pretty sure the LS was still collecting accurate positions...it was a gravel pile....Phil

The base rover setup screen information is only accurate while the LS is connected to the base by Bluetooth, once it is disconnected, manually or by exceeding Bluetooth range, the display returns to default values. Even if you are receiving corrections, the base rover setup screen will show "no connection". It's not true though.

I've seen the empty values in base rover statistics screen too, Phil and I passed it along to development team when I saw your question a couple of days ago. Thanks for the heads up.

Shawn...You are right, even though it shows no connection, it is still measuring. I went back to my first shot of the day and with the display blank for the base and saying no connection and it staked the shot dead on. I took base/rover statistic out of my white boxes last night, but the base display went blank today sometime during my survey today. It it not a big deal to me right now because I checked into some control points. This LS is so easy to carry around....Phil

The base rover statistics button should be working in the next release update. Glad to hear you are doing well.

"No Connection" is referring to no Bluetooth connection between the base and rover. It is not the status of the radio corrections.

Except that this box shows "No Connection" even when there is a Bluetooth connection between base and rover. This box doesn't change status until after Start Base has been selected, then it eventually shows "Waiting" and then "Receiving".

Yes, the base/rover setup somehow shows no connection and no display in the base window, but it still is measuring accurately. I think may be when I tried out the white box button for base rover statistics that it made this occur. I went out on another job this afternoon and measured within 0.05 of x,y,z of two OPUS control points...so I know it is measuring accurately. The LS is just going to get better and better..because you guys know what surveyors are going through out in the field and in the office

When I just checked it, it shows "No Connection!" when the Bluetooth is not connected or while it is in the processing of establishing the connection and "Retrieving Data":

After the parameters have been read it changes to "Waiting":

I saw this today. Until the base radio side shows "OK" the radio connection window shows "No Connection". Once the base radio is confirmed by J-Field to be on and broadcasting, the note switches to "Waiting".
