WiFi Weirdness

I've been using my T-LS with an RTN over WiFi with my phone as a hotspot without any trouble. But lately I've noticed that in the office, with my phone hotspot off, the receiver connects to my office WiFi but won't connect to the RTN and won't download updates.

The WiFi icon is lit:

But the RTN won't connect:

The Support page shows a WiFi connection:

But the Update page shows a lit WiFi icon *and* a "No Connection" message:

I have had 1 other customer support call that had this issue. I asked him to update via network cable as well. I do not know if he has had any success lately updating or not.

One thing I've found that sometimes fixed wifi problems in the past is to power cycle it. Try going in the wifi settings, turn the wifi off and then back on again.

I had a similar problem like this the other day.
Was in an urban setting trying to use my phone as a hotspot which I have done before in a rural setting only so far.
As you can imagine there were many other wireless networks showing up in various signal strengths
when trying to connect to my phone which was 2 feet away.
The L.S. doesn't seem to like multiple networks showing up.
After it indicated connection to my cellphone network (in red) it would fail connecting to the RTN.
When returning to the list of networks the L.S. seemed to be searching and trying to connect to the other networks as it went down the list.
Is there any way to ignore all other networks?
I will try again without the interfering networks and let you know.
Maybe tethering is the way to go?

I've run into this problem on a college campus, where WiFi networks abound. Once I was finally able to pick my phone hotspot - which I did after several attempts at stabbing it as it scrolled by - everything went fine. But some way of reducing the clutter of the hotspot list in a crowded environment would sure be useful.
