Adjust Grid To Ground, and RENAME??

I may be confused. But, that seems to be a trap.
I want to adjust grid to ground, and SAVE WITH NEW NAME. Not rename!

I have stayed up way too late, discovering that I cannot get back, to my original SPC file, without starting over.

Here is what I WANT:
Full project in SPC, Arkansas South.
Here is how I made my Arkansas South:
Start at
HOME
COORD SYS button.
Select the "All Projects" circle in the top middle
Select the green + button, on the left. (This is to add a new coord sys)
Select NORTH AMERICA
USA
SPCS (NAD83 2011)
Go to page 2, and select NAD83 (2011) Arkansas South
Height system: Page 3, NAVD 88 (When selecting, make SURE that what you select pops up, and appears in the light blue area, at the top of screen If need be, use the CHECK button, just above the HOUSE button on the right side of the screen.)
Hit OK
Then GEOID:
And, I want GEOID 12A CONUS South 42N (When selecting, make SURE that what you select pops up, and appears in the light blue area, at the top of screen. Use the check button again)
Hit OK
Next, go down one to INPUT EPOCH. Here you select the RIGHT side of that input bar. And, the keyboard pops up. Type in the number 2010.

Next, go down one, to the screen that says:
Transformation: Click on that.
For now, there are 2 Selections:

WGS84(ITRF 2008 to NAD 83 (2011) / NAVD 88 / SPCS83 Arkansas South Zone
And,
HTDP WGS84(ITRF 2008 to NAD 83 (2011) / NAVD 88 / SPCS83 Arkansas South Zone

I want the second one. The one with HTDP in it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, comes the rub. The NEXT selection is Adjust Grid to ground, and rename.
IF you do this, then, It is HARD to get back to SPC.

I want this option to say: ADJUST TO GROUND and SAVE WITH NEW NAME. I don't like how it covers up that SPC option, as we have already set it up.

This way, ultimately, I WANT PAGE 0 to reflect, SPC, Arkansas South, a
And, page 1 to reflect GROUND.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, continuing, with our little exercise.
Click Adjust GRID to GROUND and rename.
As soon as you click that button, you get a pile of options.
For now, we are going to only deal with the SCALE DIFFERENCE.
The other options can be filled it. This allows you to set a SCALE BASE. It's the point that does not move. And, the scaling moves relative to this point.
But, for now, we are leaving the scale base at 0,0
And the rotation at 0°
OK click SCALE DIFFERENCE.
Up comes a scale difference calculator.
click the LIGHT GREEN button, labeled FACTORS
Then, CLICK the button labeled POINTS, or ALIGNMENT. It's a toggle. Toggles between points, and Alignment. Set it to POINTS.
then click the box to the RIGHT of the word POINTS.
Now, you are at a screen, where you have 3 tabs across the top. With ROUND check dots. Click the one labeled SURVEY. Your Surveyed coords should then appear. IF they do not, click the little icon that looks like a funnel cloud. That's the FILTER button. Then, go to the bottom of that screen, and click RESET FILTERS. Then click OK
You should then see your SURVEY POINTS.
Here, and for this illustration, we are going, to select BASE 1.
To do this, you can press with finger, or stylus, on that check box. If it does not come up, (screen is stubborn!) you can use the 4 way arrow button, in the upper left part of the screen. Go up, or down, until BASE is highlighted. Then, go across the screen, and PRESS the CHECK button. This button is just above the HOUSE (home) button. This allows you to SELECT the geographical point, desired, to find your Combined Scale Factor (CSF).
This is the geographical location for your base station, probably from an autonomous solution. If you have already DPOS'd it, then it will be the real LAT LON.
Now, after clicking the SELECT button, in the SE corner of the screen, you are taken BACK to the SCALE FACTORS screen.
You have a BROWN box. That has a number of options.
Click the button, that says GRID TO GROUND FACTOR, or it will say COMBINED FACTOR. It's a toggle. Click it until it says GRID TO GROUND FACTOR. This is the CSF, or COMBINED SCALE to get to GROUND.
Right now, mine says 89.782 PPM. (This results in a scale multiplier of 1.000089782. Using PPM makes these numbers just a little smaller) If you are used to a ratio, that can be set under settings. (not going there right now!)

So, for my project, I can use the generated CSF. Or, since I may later change this, I choose to use an even 90 PPM.
So, in the brown box, where it says GRID to GROUND, I press. Here comes the little screen, with numerics pad, and at the top it says SCALE DIFFERENCE +89.782.
Here, I decide to CHANGE this to read 90.00. Just to keep it a nice round number. I can later on change this scale factor, and it will re-project with another CSF, if I decide that the base was on a hill, and did not represent the average elevation, or the geographical middle of the project.
OK??
Now, I click the BLUE OK button, in the SE corner of the screen.
Now, you are BACK to the "Adjust Grid-to-Ground, & Rename.
At the top of this screen, you now have the whole original name:
NAD 83(2011) Arkansas South GRD:90PPM.
But, notice the 90 PPM at the end. This tells you what scale was used to put the grid coords on ground.
Now, click DONE button, in the SE corner of the screen.
NOW you get another screen. with a baby blue box, on the right... er, I mean EAST side of the screen, and it will (get your glasses) tell you what is going on. Has that 90 PPM on the second line of blue text.
NOW you are set on ground coords, at the base station.
Thats fine and dandy. BUT now NATE has a problem.
I want to very quickly go back to a SPC system.
How do I do that?
I want to have a TOGGLE or PAGE to switch between SPC and Ground SPC.
(I am gonna print that out)
I am flowcharting my jobs.
What am I missing?
Thanks!
Nate

I think I got it. Last step go to COLLECT screen.
Click on PAGE.
select PAGE 0. And EDIT it. Select Arkansas South, WITHOUT the 90 PPM.
Select PAge 1. Edit it. Select Arkansas south, WITH 90 PPM.
GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT!

The short answer to your problem is that you need to use Additional Action button to duplicate your state plane coordinate system before adjusting it to ground. I wrote and have attached a more detailed pdf with these instructions.
