AM I MISSING SOMETHING (DEPOS FROM THE LS)

I am trying to use and evaluate my data in the office. As I understand the available tools the following steps should be followed:

1. Gather data in the field, and download the base to the LS.

2. With the LS connected to the internet; DPOS the data from the LS.

a. It is my understanding that the only way to get RTK, PPK, and CORS is to DPOS from the LS. Is this correct?

b. If the above is correct; then the only way to evaluate the data (RTK v. PPK v. CORS) is through the LS. All of the comparison and evaluation tools reside in the LS. Is this correct?

3. Export coordinates for office use.

If my understanding of the process is correct the only way to evaluate the project is through the LS, and there is no way to export the evaluation information for future review or documentation.

Let me know if I am missing something.

Well.... Sort of. You can export a pdf at the export screen.
I have screen shots turned on, at various locations. These are exported in the pdf output file.

Currently only the HTML report has the options to export all these coordinates. In the "Point Text" option found when exporting an HTML report, choose the "Hybrid RTK Report" format.

So, if I have 20 points I need to export 20 screen shots, then type the coordinates in by hand to my CAD. It must be extremely difficult for JAVAD to provide us with a tool that would allow us to review and manipulate this data from our PC. I would be willing to pay for software that would allow me to use my PC the same as the LS for DPOS.

I will try this. I didn't know it existed. I will quit whining about this.

Another possible option, is to allow 2 coords to be created for points with both RTK and PPK.
The stored coord, would naturally be the RTK.
But, an option could be added, much like the Averaging of Clusters.
So, we would have an option "Create coords from PPK" These coords would have the point number from the field, with a prefix, or a suffix, just like allowed with AVERAGE.
Then, we could use the AVERAGE function, and get the average of the RTK, and the PPK, if desired.

Just thinking....

I have asked for this in the past. This would increase the relative precision without necessarily taking more shots. (I typically shoot every pin 3 times and could end up with 6 different coordinates if this were enacted).

Then, another option could be (for export of ascii file)
All avg points.
and
All single points.
I often go and manually change all clusters, except the avg one, to a layer, called 0Hid. The leading zero, keeps it near, or at the top of the list.
One at a time.
It takes a while, but lets me see the shot spread, and consider what I am doing.
