Custom Rod Heights white box suggestion

I use a fixed rod height most of the time set up with the option of getting a direct height reading off the graduations on the pole if I raise it to find better signal conditions etc.
I take the L.S. off the pole and place it on a monument and tape the height in some cases.
Sometimes you don't know the height until you have raised and lowered the rod to find the sweet spot for the signals and the L.S. may be too high to enter the rod.
It would save keystrokes and incorrect rods and point elevations from not changing the rod back to fixed, If there were a box designated for custom rod height only that would only work for one shot and then the normal rod height would return on the next shot.
After lowering the rod and before the shot is accepted you have the opportunity to enter the custom height and accept the shot.
If there is a way to do this already let me know.

Sean, I'd like it too. If the white box option had the option of changing before storing... and if you changed it, another button, that says KEEP this for future heights, and one that said JUST this shot.
You are on track, with your thinking.
Maybe the Next Generation of LS will do AUTOMATIC rod heights! :)

I like both of these ideas.

I have a quick attach between the LS and the pole and I use the LS off the pole for fence shots, etc. So almost all of my shots have one of two antenna heights. It would save some keystrokes if the antenna height entry screen had a button that would recall the last antenna height. I can select MR and then one of the 28, but a single button would be quick.

This has been done and will be available in the next release:

Tap the Profiles button to Recall a stored profile.

Would it be possible to make it so that tapping the black antenna height button on the collect action screen toggles between the last antenna height and the current antenna height, and a long press would bring up the antenna height screen? It would save 3 keystrokes each time, even with the MR button.

Opening the antenna height screen is the primary function of that button so it has to be assigned the short click. Are there really that many people that change antenna heights between only 2 options frequently throughout the day that a long click option to change to the previous option is really needed to save 3 button presses?
