Export Profile

Is there a way to export the profile used while shooting points? We use several profiles in the same job and would like to be able to see which profile was used with each point when the job is exported in .txt or ,csv format.

No, the profile a point is collected with is not stored in the database but other information like the number of epochs and confidence is stored and can be exported in txt files.

Our profiles are all set up to do screen shots during collection. We always have the profile being used as one of our white boxes on all profiles. We export a pdf report after processing. Then we know what profile was used and almost everything about each point collected.

We could know and find this type of information easily if we had an interactive user manual.

Is it possible to make the change so that the profile WOULD be stored in the database? I use the screen shot method currently, but don't export the entire report because I'm the only person using the unit at this point. It would be helpful to have the profile information when , let's say I send someone else into the field to collect data, and then for whatever reason, I end up processing it back in the office. I would be able to verify that boundary points were located with a boundary profile and not quick topo or something like that.

I use boundary profile 90% of the time.
Out in the open, shooting c/l, I usually stop it at 20 seconds. So, storing the profile isn't relevant. What's relevant is what it actually did. Aka, screen shot.

I don't disagree there Nate, I'd just like that information in a 'report' format. Much easier to search and and manipulate than 200 screenshots.

I'd like "Office Computer LS Companion".
It allows the user, to open LS files, on the office computer, without the LS present. It does not do everything the LS does, but it looks like the LS, reads LS files, and allows you to select RTPK, or RTK, and can DPOS. And, it can have design, and survey points added, or deleted. You can fully prepare jobs, in it, to send to the LS.
Thanks,
Nate
