Is the Victor ready for action?

I am still running my Legacy E units. Yesterday, I had to abandon my GPS unit, because the site I was on was in the sun. I sunstroke and overhead easily now, as I age, and recuperate from Lymes Disease.

I want to be able to run whatever GPS rover I am using, with a REMOTE method, from the shade.
So, will the Victor run the LS? Will it be full function? Is it long range bluetooth? Is it long range bluetooth in the LS? The need to operate it remotely is important to me.

Thank you,

Nate

Will it work with no internet? Will it allow you to work in a remote valley, no signals except the radio link, and still operate remotely? Thanks (as in, via direct link, say, up to a few hundred feet away)

I don't believe the LS has high powered bluetooth. There is an Android app that works with RAMS using your phone's wifi and does not need an internet connection. It has a range of about 5 meters which could probably be extended if you were to use some type of mobile router.
