that can be inserted and read in the LS? Micro SD cards are getting larger, just wondering in there is a size limit of card that can be installed?

Will the change to Linux o/s allow larger sd cards?
Does a larger card allow the ls to hold more jobs, at one time, without slowing it down?
(it seems to boot up slower, with more jobs)
I have 3 pages of jobs right now.
I like to do a backup, and cleaning about once a yr. That way, if my hard drive on the office computer goes down, i at least have the coords...

I was surprised to see recently how cheap the Micro SD cards are. It looks like 16 GB card can be had for less than $10. I'm wondering if the way to go is to never delete a job on the card, but just buy a new one every year, or whatever interval makes sense. Download the card to your network/laptop/etc., and keep the original SD as a backup.

I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems like 16 GB would hold all my year's jobs. I suspect that many of you may do more at least 3 pages of jobs in a year.

If I were to buy a fresh new card, does the LS automatically format it and populate all the necessary system folders on its own?
