Got my LS+ back from the shop but I constantly have to calibrate the touch screen and it ghost clicks. Is there something to try at home or should I send it back??? The screen appears new and clean.

Thanks.

I have the same issue with my brand new LS. Not only with ghost clicking but occasionally with the screen locking up. Don’t think it’s due to a dirty screen unless it came from the factory with a dirty screen.

My screen had been ghost-clicking, consuming hours of crew time for over two years. Clients were wondering why I had windex and a rag all the time, unit didn't work.
I just had a RMA repair for this. After lab testing, no problem detected, techs returned it.
I sent it back a second time. They tested it outside upon my request. The screen had been glitching in the sun.
Apparently, the screen doesn't work in the sun (heavy sigh). Thought it was dust, I was wrong.

I wonder if the screen component has been changed? My older unit never does it. The repaired unit still does even after a good cleaning.

The ghost clicks and sun glitches are not normal. Unless you dropped it off a cliff or submerged it, this appears to be a manufacturing defect. The unit is warranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase. If they cannot fix it to work normally, they must replace the unit. If it is just the screen freezing up, press and hold the A/V hard button on the top right of the unit. It will click and you will get a message that the screen is calibrated. Then normal screen function should resume. If this does not correct the problem, then you have an issue JAVAD GNSS is responsible for fixing.

Has everyone that is having issues with ghost clicks decreased the Touchscreen Sensitivity to the lowest setting as was previously mentioned in this thread? If not, this should be done. The setting is accessed by pressing the A/V hardware button or icon.

There have been a variety of screens used over the years. I just got a bad one.
JAVAD knows about the issue and surely will not use one that will cause problems. The repair was great! No issues.
Yes, calibrating the screen often and turning down the sensitivity can help. I cleaned and rebooted also.
In my case, it was not dust but a screen that is intolerant of the sun.
