So I have a property that is about 1,500 ft. long (N-S) and 500 ft. wide
It is wooded but the leaves are off. In the southern third is a hill that rises about 100 ft. from the north.
It then drops about 40 ft. to the southern boundary. The only real cleared area was at the northern part.
Setup everything up was doing great until I went over the hill. Should of guessed that.
Did what I could do with the range I had.
Afterwards I set the base in the woods at the top of the hill.
LS was getting 1 out of 6 with a fix. The Epochs were logging but once it got to 120 epochs (auto stop) it kept going and the Conf. & Consist. stayed at Zero. When I stopped the logging there was a request to store the point which I did. Upon review afterwards the results were not good as compared to the previous day collection.
I guess there isn't much that can be done with this situation other than a 4 watt radio to keep the base in the best location.
