Matt's Engine Configuration

I've lost my manually set engine configuration.

I remember there being a toggle to uncheck that would not let JField program the setup. Where was that?

Now, I don't see each constellation as an option on this page? What are my next steps to get back to this? Thanks! @Matt Johnson

See the attached document. Make sure to turn off Auto Setup Engines. I have been seeing issues with GLO P1 preventing engines from fixing so I would recommend checking this and if it is causing issues then disable GLO P1 tracking on the LS or don't use in the engines.

I recently took a GPS class at the WV surveyor's convention. It was given by a gentleman that worked for a non-Javad company, (Leica I believe). During a lot of testing they had determined that using the Galileo constellation of satellites gave faster and better fixes. Might want to try a little bias toward the Galileo satellites to see if it makes a difference.

Do you mean that they said using only Galileo gave faster and better fixes or using Galileo in combination with GPS, GLONASS and possibly BeiDou? I believe the best results should be able to be obtained using all 4 constellations together.

I do believe Matt's method is edging out the win. By not using Matt's method and using just stock settings. Javad's engine 3 is heavy on Galileo's satellites. In my opinion, with stock settings, Javad gives Galileo more importance than any other manufacturer.
