Migrate to Linux

LS serial number is 00490. I do not think I have a password. I never done RAMS before. The Password box does not have a check mark in it and is not highlighted

Eugene, i updated the windows this morning, and then tried Migration to Linux. Do you want me to try it again. I got USB in LS and LS plugged into eletricity

My Unit has been working great. I did not want to update for last nine months, but last week rollover and not able to DPOS is something I like to use, so I have to update to Linux to use DPOS and not get slinged into 1999 extensions on each project. The best things about the LS are the support from Javad and the surveyors you have on staff and the lightweight of the unit and easy to handle and use.

Yes, we doesn't support WinCE OS anymore and development finished a year ago. We on the Linux now and it works better. I do recommend to migrate for sure.

It is already at 61 percent archiving at only 9 minutes since start of migration, pretty fast I think

should backup, download, reboot, install Linux, reboot and install Linux apps. Then you should go to the Migration screen again to recover all data from USB.
