Touchscreen Lockup

Today my touchscreen quit responding to touch input after an hour or so of use. A reboot fixed it, but I'm wondering if this is a harbinger of a larger problem, or perhaps the result of usage pattern. I did a fair amount of switching between Stake and Collect using the bottom row hardware buttons; is there a difference between this and going back to the Home screen to switch between the two? I'm wondering if I might have overflowed a buffer of some sort.

The side hardware buttons worked even while the touchscreen was disabled.

Possibly related: I've noticed that the screen goes dark after awhile and has to be touched to light up again. This never used to happen before. Did one of the updates implement a timeout that wasn't there before?

Jim, checkout the AV button. It has display off after setting. You can calibrate the screen by holding down the AV button until it says touch screen calibrated.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. Had to hard reboot. I did hit the AV button to recalibrate a couple of times. It gave me a few phantom clicks also, but haven't had any problems out of it the last half of last week or any today. Hope it was just a fluke.

I have had to reboot a few times in the last couple of weeks because the touch screen was reacting more slowly and less dependable than normal.

Did you hit the AV button, or hold it down for 3 seconds?
