Triumph-2 Case Cracking

3 of 4 corners of my Triumph-2 case is cracking along with the midpoints where the fastening screw are. This unit has never been dropped and kept in the bag when not in use. I think it is caused by overtightening the screws when it was assembled.

Has anyone else had this problem

I just posted about this on the private side of the forum. Hopefully I'll hear something back shortly (within the next day or so).

I just called Michael and was advise that my emails never reached him even though I had the correct email address. Time Warner (my ISP) is being taken over by Spectrum, so there may be some issues with my email. I should have called 1st before posting. Sorry guys.

Hi Don, thanks for the call and heads-up that we are not getting your emails. Unfortunately, I never received your email and I imagine Javad did not receive them either. I've followed up with our IT team to see if we can figure out why we did not receive them. Our repair/support team will be in touch with you shortly to take care of the issue you've reported.

Dear Donald,
The cosmetics cracks do not change performance of the receivers.
Please let us if you believe that operatin of your Triumph-2 could be affected, in this case we would be glad to issue RMA and replace cover free of charge.
Best regards,
RMA manager Andrey Simonov.

Yes, same as your pictures. I wonder if a little epoxy would keep them from spreading without impairing performance?

I Received the RMA. I tried to email you, but, your email server seems to have some problems. No one is getting my emails. (I get no response). I see the warranty does not include shipping. I shipped the T-2 Yesterday and you should receive it tomorrow.
These aren't "cosmetic cracks". They are due to workmanship and/or material. Moisture can easily enter through these cracks and reduce the life if the receiver.

Has this issue been resolved? My T2 has very little time exposed to the elements. never been rained on. As I look out the window seeing the 14th consecutive day of frog strangling rain I'm happy that business is slow. I recall the early days of EDM's that drowned in our Western Washington winters.

Mike, I too have used my T2 very little due to work near tall buildings and.or heavy vegetation. They replaced the T2 cover last year, but is is beginning to crack on a corner, again! So, I would say no, it has not been resolved. The cover needs to either be thicker or reinforced on the corners.
