Hi Duane,

There will be some improvement as noted by Matt and his posts.

The T1M+ has a 1 watt radio, but the uhf antenna doubles the power to equal 2 watts Effective radiated power.

Yes, your T1 is acceptable for trade.

The current antennas for the T1M have a different part number. I think that those are not capable of the additional power added by the antenna.

It is interesting though that the new antenna does list the T1M / T1M+ on the antenna.

I have not tried to use the new antenna on a T1M.

Hey Everyone,

We have fixed the communication compatibility problem with the new products and J-field. We have a J-Field version that I have tested and was able to use the T3NR and the T1M Plus as bases for the LS. This version is in testing and should be released soon.
Is the new J-field that works with the T3-NR been released? My LS says it is up to date with 4.0.0.1216. Will I be able to use a T3-NR as a base with my LS if I buy one?

The promotion for the new products hasn't changed.

We are also offering the T3 discount to existing customers who would like to upgrade to a newer base. This offer doesn't require a trade in.
So there promos on the T1M, T3 NR and T3? If the T3 is available, then I also presume this is your flagship base? What is the promotion? Cost/Options activated?

I am buying before the end of the month.

Last question. My LS is not doing well either. Very surprised as I do about 15 hours surveying per month. Is there a any type of promotion for the LS+. I screwed up and didn't realize when you released this model that the very generous initial cost to existing Javad users of the LS was time limited. Of course I don't believe that Javad owes me anything. Just asking in case I missed something.

If not I need to take you or Matt up on taking a look at my LS via Netview. Let me know if you are available for this. If we can't determine the problem, then I need an RMA for repair,

Jim, this promotion for the LS+ and T3 is still being offered through the end of September.

Also there are promo prices on the T3-NR and T1M+:

T3-NR Intro price is $6450 with 1 year PPP subscription
T2 trade in $850.
Total with Trade is $5600

T1-M+ Into price is $9995 with Cell/UHF and 1 year PPP subscription
T2 trade in $850
Total with T2 Trade is $9145
Trade of any working multi-constellation RTK GNSS unit with internal radio and/or Cellular capabilities is $2000
Total with Trade is $7995

I am available to look at your receivers on NetView if needed.

The T3, T1-M+ and T3-NR all offer similar capabilities as a base. but the T3-NR does not have internal radios or cellular modems.

Upgraded to T1M+ and had to used Pre-release 4.0.1.649 to get it to work with the LS+. However I do notice that the map screen navigation and selection of points/lines is slower and jerky, making it more difficult to use.

To all wishing to comment.

I currently have the LS and T2 with the Javad 1 watt external radio.

This month I am purchasing a new base. The costs for the T3, T3-NR and T1-M+ are $5600, $7500 and $7995 respectively. The T3 does not require trade.

I have been going over this in my head and can't decide which unit is the best choice. Not sure if the NR and M+ have an advantage because they have been released recently?

Your comments will be appreciated.

Javad must be doing something right if all of the choices seem great!

I am betting that for those of you that have worked with all the units for any period of time know the clear which stands out above the rest.

Cost is a factor, but not so much. If I knew that the M+ was superior in every way to the NR, then I would go that direction.

The promotion on the T3 at $7,500 has ended. The Summer Bundle is still available that included a T3 at that price with a LS+.

I would suggest deciding between the T-3NR and T-1M+. The T-1M+ has the option for integrated UHF radio and cell modems where the T-3NR does not. The T-1M+ also has the best form factor for a base with the UHF antenna integrated into the 5/8 thread pole.

Thank you Matt. Your comments are appreciated, as always.

I'm sure you recall that my LS was exhibiting this odd behavior of collecting points, describing sats on the home page but a blank page when tapping the sats in view. Yesterday I did a very small project, was collecting from the CORS via my phone's hotspot (I have a cell card in the LS but it consstantly drops the connection to the CORS) and it seemed tp populate the visible sats page correctly. Odd.

I could easily set it up in my office today and connect to netview if you would like to take a look. Or we can do this at a time convenient for you.

I can look today if you connect.
Hi Matt,

I will connect. I usually connect via microusb. The connector has become damaged and is in the interior of LS. You are probably thinking I trash the unit by this time…quite the opposite. It has never been dropped and looks like it’s in great condition.

Can I connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Ethernet to my pc to access net view?

Matt,

How much is the T-1M with the cellular and internal radio options? I might have a T2 to trade.
