Google Drive not showing sub folders?

This happened yesterday. In the middle of a project in which my team and I had exported data to my Google Drive folder, on one attempt, the subject folder was not listed? Even now, it does not show any subfolders on the LS screen. Help.

I have unmounted and remounted the cloud drive. I went to app.javad.com and checked there. all was good. I had to use dropbox to finish the job. Any ideas of what to check?

Same thing happened to ALL of my machines during the day on Friday.
Couldn’t access any sub folders or transfer any files out.
Also couldn’t access RAMS on Chrome on my desktop.

All our units are doing this same thing. I can see the files are successfully synced on the google drive, but they don't show up on the javad file list.

Does anyone know how to send a file using bluetooth? I've got bluetooth on my laptop and I've got bluetooth on the javad. In theory I should be able to just transfer the file from one device to the other, right?

The problems stem from Google now deeming app.javad.com to be less secure:

The only way to allow app.javad.com to connect to Google Drive is to disable 2 factor authentication.

Bluetooth file transfer is not supported in the LS. If you want wireless file transfer to a PC, you can still use RAMS for this.

I already had 2-Step Verification turned off. Can you provide a step-by-step for finding the setting that we need to turn on if we want to use them despite the risks? I searched within account settings for "less secure apps" and the only thing I found was this notice that less secure apps will no longer be supported starting in January 2025.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this. Being able to access google drive is a huge part of our workflow and is severely hindering us already.

Hello everyone, OAuth 2.0 is the recommended authentication method for accessing Google APIs, including Google Drive. J-Field cannot be updated immediately to support OAuth 2.0, we can try to use App Passwords as a temporary solution:

How to Use App Passwords:

  1. Enable 2-Step Verification:
  2. Generate an App Password:
    • Go to the App Passwords section in your Google Account (only available after enabling 2-Step Verification).
    • Generate a 16-character password.
  3. Update the regular account password:
    • Replace the regular account password with the generated app password.

I enabled 2 step verification, but I dont have an app password section.
I am assuming it would be under "How to sign in to Google"

I have still not gotten either Google Drive nor Dropbox to work transferring files through the LS. The change in security settings from Google has been coming for months so it could’ve been pre planned if there was going to be a fix for the LS, so my guess is that’s not gonna happen at all.
I was able to mount the network drive to Dropbox easily through my settings online but when I attempt to access it in the LS I get the message in the attached photo. Dropbox just isn’t/hasn’t ever been very reliable in my experience. Google Drive was smooth, easy and efficient.

We have taken a major step back this past week and a half because of these issues having to go back to the old USB stick to transfer files. I know RAMS is another option but it’s just not nearly as convenient and useful as doing everything through Google Drive.

With the “state of things” that have become very obvious with the LS, I’m certainly not holding my breath that any of this will be addressed - but one can hope.

Same here. I have tried Google and Dropbox with no luck. Its really biting us. We relied very heavily on Google Drive for our daily operations.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
