Here is the itinerary for the event. As best as we can, we'll cover each of these topics.

Please do provide a completed form to me as soon as possible. The reduced rate offer ends this week. I can't work from verbal confirmations, I need forms, no exceptions.

FYI Hot Springs is a very historic town and as I told Shawn I am glad to have a chance to visit and plan on staying the weekend after the training.
I booked a very reasonable room at the historic Park Hotel.
Am flying to Dallas (where my daughter lives) on Tuesday and driving to HS on Wednesday.
I would like to propose that those of us arriving early possibly meet at the Historic Ohio Club Wednesday evening?

Sean, I don't know what time I will arrive. I will try to find you depending on my schedule. email me your information (cell and email) at douty@greenforestsurveys.com and we will coordinate.

I'm next door at the Arlington. I couldn't stay at a normal hotel especially when its Hot Springs. Too much history. Al Capone's room (443) was booked so I just got a regular room. I wouldn't swing $350 a night anyway.

Patrick, I would take it if for no other reason than looking over some settings on netview. I don't know if I will make it or not but if I do, and if you have an rtn you use, we could easily have your base link to the network and use fixed solutions for your base points. That's just an example, I think it's good to have all of your gear just in case.

I like it, Sean. I'll have a bit of prep to do, but I will plan to be there.

Shawn, I'm guessing that we do not need to bring anything other than the LS (no base etc). Let me know if I'm wrong!

I've been telling people to only bring the LS, but Adam makes a fine point. If you like, feel free to bring your base receiver and radio.

I'll have a UHF base and FHSS base to accommodate both while we're doing our "labs".

Making last minute preparations now. Purchased food last night (looked like we were preparing for a boy scout campout!). Very excited to see many friends again and meet new ones as well.

Flight delayed last night so I am leaving Dallas now. Should be in HS by 6. Will check in hotel and stop by Ohio Club in case any of you make it there.
Looking forward to meeting all of you
