Patrick. I'm going. I live in a small town north of LR called Heber Springs. If you want a ride I go right through LR. And really anyone that needs a ride from LR for that matter.
I am planning on attending. Does anyone have any experience travelling with the LS in carry on?
How does the TSA react?

I am going to print out some of the published material for the L.S. with pictures and keep it with the unit to show them instead of trying to explain what it is if they ask.
But, it might be challenging, especially for a tsa agent!

I have traveled successfully many times domestically and internationally with the TRIUMPH-LS in my carry on luggage. Since it is dense and an unusual shape, the airport authority may ask you to remove it from your bag so they can review it. They may also swab it to perform an ETD test. I suggest making sure it has a healthy charge in case they ask you to power it on to demonstrate it is an operable device. The PLS team has carried the LS as carry-on many times. About half the time I fly with the LS, TSA will test the for explosives using a test strip that they swab over the LS and stick into a machine. Takes an extra five minutes, but otherwise no worries.
