Patrick. I'm going. I live in a small town north of LR called Heber Springs. If you want a ride I go right through LR. And really anyone that needs a ride from LR for that matter.

Phil, I might take you up on that. Plans still in flux. My wife has a sister in Dallas so there's some discussion about flying in there. But I'd give it a 30% chance, which will likely mean I fly from BOS to LR. I should know within a week! Thnx for the offer.

From Knoxville, TN – I-40 West to I-30 South at Little Rock.

I am planning on attending. Does anyone have any experience travelling with the LS in carry on?
How does the TSA react?

Sometimes they will ask what it is but it has never been a problem. They might not allow you to carry a pole tip on the flight because it is sharp.

The PLS team has carried the LS as carry-on many times. About half the time I fly with the LS, TSA will test the for explosives using a test strip that they swab over the LS and stick into a machine. Takes an extra five minutes, but otherwise no worries.

Thanks Matt and Shawn
I am going to print out some of the published material for the L.S. with pictures and keep it with the unit to show them instead of trying to explain what it is if they ask.

Things are happening pretty fast, in the software development for the LS... That being said, keeping the hard copies updated, has shall we say, "Been a challenge".
It eventually will settle down, in some areas. But, I'm glad to see it "Moving on".

If those going have done the research, does anyone have recommended motels or hotels near the Arc Isle site that Shawn is using? Thanks in advance!

Unless I hear that is a bad idea; I intend to stay at: Quality Inn & Suits, 4319 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
I am waiting for Shawn to confirm my registration before I lock down my travel/lodging.

I noticed that there's also an EconoLodge 500-700 ft away from the seminar location. That's the closest location.

I presume there's no issue with registration at the seminar. I've already bought plane tickets. Last big item is motel.

Shawn, can you confirm that if we've committed at this date, that we're in? ;)

I have traveled successfully many times domestically and internationally with the TRIUMPH-LS in my carry on luggage. Since it is dense and an unusual shape, the airport authority may ask you to remove it from your bag so they can review it. They may also swab it to perform an ETD test. I suggest making sure it has a healthy charge in case they ask you to power it on to demonstrate it is an operable device.

I look forward to reading your posts and seeing the pictures from this excellent event Shawn is orchestrating.
