Unable to connect T3 and HPT435BT Radio

Last week, I updated my T3 through the LS+. When I updated the modem to the "generic" format, the T3 went into an error state, and I eventually had to reset it to the factory state to get it to work. I've got the internal UHF radio and the TCP corrections working correctly, but I'm struggling to connect the base and the radio. I've tried many, many times to connect it via Bluetooth and using the serial/usb cable. When I connect using Bluetooth, it pairs, but the connection fails with varying error messages, the most common being a timeout. When I try to connect using the cable, it acts like it is working, but then it eventually dumps me back to the Base Radio pair screen with no error messages and nothing paired or connected. I also tried connecting the radio to netview/modem, but that seems like a deadend. I've tried calling support, but there was no answer. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Matt:

Question: Do I need a cable to connect our HPT435BT radio through Netview?

I contacted you on Friday about an issue where my LS+, Triumph 2 would not connect to our HPT435BT radio. I had to leave the office so I couldn't leave it on RAMS.

When I would go to "Remote Base", I could connect to the Triumph-2, when I would click on the radio I could not adjust any of the setting like I could in the past and I would get an error message of "Can't start output stream".

You may need to pair the radio through Netview.
I've tried pairing the radio through Netview using the serial port to USB port adapter that came with the radio. I get a pairing error every time I try to pair. John Roscoe helped me yesterday, but was also getting a pairing error. He theorized that maybe the radio is broken. What would be the best way to go about testing for that? It was working fine the last time I used it.

Could you share a screenshot of the NetView pairing tab, including all outputs during the pairing process and the error message? This will help us analyze the issue and determine the best next steps.

Thank you for sharing the logs and commands. We are currently reviewing them in detail. At first glance, I don't see any issues with the radio-mode commands or responses. We'll continue our analysis and get back to you as soon as we have more information.

Could you please connect everything and send me the TeamViewer ID and password? Also, please provide the TR-LS serial number from RAMS and the corresponding RAMS password.

It says session code expired for me as well. Here's another code:

Here are my TeamViewer ID number and connection password.
Please use them to start a remote support session with me.

For the same reason as before, I was unable to connect to your PC using TeamViewer. As an alternative, please close NetView to free the Bluetooth channel on the TR-3, as it is currently connected to the receiver via Bluetooth. Disconnect the radio from NetView, power off/on both the radio and the TR-3, and let me know once you've done that. I will then connect to the TR-LS in RAMS and attempt to pair the radio with the TR-3 using the TR-LS

I'm not sure what's going on with TeamViewer. I have my account setup so the sessions should not expire. I just opened a test session on a different computer and was able to connect by entering the session ID in the "Provide Support" section.

I turned off Netview and unplugged the radio from my computer. I turned the base and radio off and then back on. The LS+ is still on RAMS. I'll try to keep checking this feed for updates in case I need to do something else. Thank you so much!
