At least in the yard. Not feeling warm and fuzzy till I'm 1.5 hour out on the mountain for a day collecting dump it and everything sits where it should....

yes. I have used the T2 as a TCP quite frequently, depending on the job. Used to work a lot in Arizona last year...not so much since January but have set it up time to time to make sure it is ready...

If you connect your LS to Remote Assistance with your base on sometime we could try to get it working.

My guess is that you have to go back to base rover and switch your settings under radio parameters over to TCP. Once you push to base it reverts to Bluetooth and has to be switched back to TCP. John mentioned this in the conference call last week.

Matt do you mean RAMs during California time to debug or St. Petersburg time?

Yes I mean RAMS, I am available right now to take a look or probably sometime later this evening too.

Do you have a Jetpack with a static IP or what would you use for your internet source for the base?

Thanks, everyone, for your quick work on fixing this. I tried it in the yard this morning and everything seems to be working. Base starts normally, RTK is fixed, and the base records raw data.

Javad GNSS-- When it absolutely, positively has to be fixed overnight!
Absolutely incredible that this got worked through over the weekend and an update fix was sitting waiting for the LS on Monday morning!
I didn't have the issues you guys did with the T2, I have the 1M, but - wow. I challenge anyone to repeat a story like this for support!! Kudos once again to the entire Javad team!!

Likewise, just tried the fix in my yard and it appears to be operating as it should. I did notice a possible new bug though...when I was in collect screen I have a user button set to real time inverse to last shot, when I click on it it takes me to a cluster averaging screen, not sure why and don't think it hurts me, but just noticed it. Is it supposed to do this?

I also think there is a possible bug still in the T2 update keeping me from operating it as a TCP base. Have not been able to get this going yet....

For my part I am impressed with the teams turn around but not calling it overnight yet. I lost Friday, Saturday, and maybe today in the field.......:(o_O
I agree, that sucks Sdrake.....BUT.....if this were one of the "other guys" updates, which, by the way, we rarely got once every two years anyway, you'd of probably been down a MONTH!!

I started a new thread for Triumph 1 users but thought I should post here too.

Triumph 1 users should use firmware version 3.6.11. and Jfield firmware 2.0.5.992. The Base Gaurd feature will not work with the Triumph 1 hardware. The Base Gaurd alarm will need to be turned off. Tap the left panel in the base/rover screen, then tap Base Gaurds, uncheck Show base alerts.

The Base Displacement Guards configuration screen only controls settings inside J-Field so it actually not neccessary to hit "To Base" after changes to these are made. This is why these setting are allowed to be change through the Base Guard white box and through Base/Rover Setup even when connected to the base through Bluetooth. By default the base always sends RTCM message 1029 with maximum displacements if supported by the hardware and firmware. Disabling the Show Base Alerts only prevents the alerts from being show in in J-Field. If RTCM message 1029 is not being received there are no alerts to show so disabling Show Base Alerts should have no effect.

Sorry Matt, Darren missed last couple of posts. Had to make hay.

Yes Darren I'm still not going to pack up Javad over a minor ding given the absolute advantage and exponential increase in productivity it has given me over the competitor's outdated paradigm. In fact I wrote (plagiarized) a song over it....

"Ashjaee's Restaurant Massacree"

This song is called Ashjaee's Restaurant, and it's about Ashjaee, and the restaurant.
But Asjjaee's Restaurant is not the name of the restaurant, that's just the name of the song, and that's why I called the song, Ashjaee's Restaurant.

You can get anything you want at Ashjaee's Restaurant
You can get anything you want at Ashjaee's Restaurant
Walk right in it's around the back, just a half a mile from the railroad track
An' you can get anything you want at Ashjaee's Restaurant

Now it all started two Thanksgivings ago, when I opened up a copy of P.O.B magazine…….

…..until the Salesman came over, had some paper in his hand, held it up and said.

"Kids, this-piece-of-paper's-got-47-words-37-sentences-58-words-we-wanna-know-details-of-the-crime-time-of-the-crime-and-any-other-kind-of-thing-you-gotta-say-pertaining-to-and-about-the-crime-I-want-to-know-arresting-officer's-name-and-any-other-kind-of-thing-you-gotta-say", and talked for forty-five minutes and nobody understood a word that he said, but we had fun filling out the forms and playing with the pencils on the bench there, and I filled out the massacre with the four part harmony, and wrote it down there, just like it was, and everything was fine and I put down the pencil, and I turned over the piece of paper, and there, there on the other side, in the middle of the other side, away from everything else on the other side, in parentheses, capital letters, quotated, read the following words:

("Kid, have you rehabilitated yourself?")

I went over to the Salesman, said, "Salesman, you got a lot a damn gall to ask me if I've rehabilitated myself, I mean, I mean, I mean that just, I'm sittin' here on the bench, I mean I'm sittin' here on the Group W bench, 'cause you want to know if I'm moral enough to join the army, burn women, kids, houses and villages after bein' a litterbug." He looked at me and said, "Kid, we don't like your kind, and we're gonna send your fingerprints off to Washington."

And friends, somewhere in Washington enshrined in some little folder, is a study in black and white of my fingerprints. And the only reason I'm singing you this song now is cause you may know somebody in a similar situation, or you may be in a similar situation, and if your in a situation like that there's only one thing you can do and that's walk into the Schmuk’s showroom were you are, just walk in and say "Schmuck, You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s restaurant." And walk out. You know, if one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony, they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them. And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in singin' a bar of Ashjaee’s Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day, I said fifty people a day walking in singin' a bar of Ashjaee’s Restaurant and walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

And that's what it is, the Ashjaee’s Restaurant Anti-Massacree Movement, and all you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the guitar.

With feeling. So we'll wait for it to come around on the guitar, here and sing it when it does. Here it comes.

You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant
You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant
Walk right in it's around the back, just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant

That was horrible. If you want to end war and stuff you got to sing loud. I've been singing this song now for twenty five years. I could sing it for another twenty five years. I'm not proud... or tired.

So we'll wait till it comes around again, and this time with Six pack RTK harmony and feeling.

We're just waitin' for it to come around is what we're doing.

All right now.

You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant (Excepting Alice)
You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant
(I said) Walk right in it's around the back, just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want, at Ashjaee’s Restaurant

Da-da da-da da-da da-dum
At Ashjaee’s Restaurant

Just a note to say that my LS is still not working with my base. It works with the MDOT system, but not with my base. I need help. Is there some one I can call Thursday night, or Friday morning. Every thing appears to work but it doesn't work.

Did you update to J-Field to 2.0.5.992?

Please leave your unit connected to RAMS tonight with the base and radio powered on.

Matt,
The base, LS, and radio are on out in my yard. 601 927 7772.

I did the update,

The problem was that your base station coordinate was wrong and the base station coordinate was very far away from the actual location it is at. The northing was actually a negative value somehow. Notice the 2D delta and Delta H warnings shown in red:

BASE-SETUP_20170921-20.39.27.png

Once I selected an autonomous position for the base and restarted it, it quickly fixed.
