I am having the exact same problem as John Thompson. I have updated everything and now nothing works. I can not even start when I uncheck "show base alerts" and now my base will not even pair to my radio modem....

yesterday I was surveying full day no trouble whatever...in fact it was rocking along great....get home updated now dead in the water.

I'm not sure if this could be the problem but do you guys have the compass and levels calibrated on the base?

I calibrated not long ago....but why would the blue tooth connections (appears to be a part of the problem) by messed up so I cant pair my modem to the base or rover, etc.

never mind. can not connect my android to the base either. appears something jacked with the bluetooth.

all of the problems I am having after trying multiple angles...base solo, base modem, base tcp, rover no base, rover modem...all seem like me related to the base Triumph 2 update

Did you try clearing nvram on the base?

If you can, leave the LS, radio and base on and connected to Remote Support over the weekend so the issue can be investigated.

Did you update the firmware from internet or from file? There are two different T2 firmwares online.
TRIUMPH2_x
TRIUMPH2_3

Not sure if it would make a difference or not but worth a try. I would try the 2x first and see if that works. If that doesn't work try the other one.

Just trial and error at this point in the hopes of getting you up and running.

So I reverted my base update to "last stable" 3.6.11 I believe and now at least the android connects to it again.
I do think it is related to the base update and it appears to be screwing up bluetooth connections.

It could be specific to the T2 update because I installed, updated and calibrated two units using the T1M base and they're working fine....

Seems like the connection to the HPT901BT is also off. Trouble connecting to it with both base and rover.

regretfully I quit doing that step since I have not been successful restoring back with it.
